The Severed Hand exit has a fight with a lich (whose name i can't remember now). He casts invisibility and a couple of Horrid Wilting and half my party is dead... i don't have See Invisibility so there's pretty much nothing i can do. If you have any sugestions....

High level area effect spells like delay blast fireball and acid or fire storm work well and will hit him if he is invisible. I attacked the lich straight away with all my characters and beat him up pretty good before he went invis. Once he did, I just pulled my characters back and let the orc scouts take all the punishment while I droped an acid storm from my sorceress and a fire storm from my cleric.

Note, you can use your cursor to find where invisible opponets are on the screen, however, you currently cannot order you characters to attack them. Just use AoE spells and you will hit them.

Spells that disrupt his casting are very helpful because it takes him awhile to get his protections up. If Kratuuk is an ally instead of going hostile, you can run back towards him. M'darfein and his cronies will follow you and then you can fight him with "help".

Another option if you're really stuck:

    SPOILER!

Load up your fastest character with protection spells and haste. While other characters engage the lich, have your fast character charge over to the corpse of the cleric, pick up the vial of holy water, and keep going until he reaches the waterfall. When you throw the holy water in the waterfall, all undead on the map (including M'darfein) drop dead. Note that not all the hostile creatures on this map are undead though so don't get too confident until you're sure the coast is clear.

This is the sort of thing the Blindfighting feat was designed for. With the current II bug, you can't directly target Mdarfein in melee while he is under II, but you can "guard" the area he is in with your fighter types. If they have Blindfighting, you should be able to put some smack down on him.

Dropping a Sunray on his location isn't a bad idea, either. It crisps the Dread Warriors and, while Mdarfein rarely takes any significan dmg from it, it does blind him regularly.

The Zuvembie armor and the Death Ward spell are very handy when fighting this guy.
