hey i'm currently soloing as an elven archer. she's about level 10. I am planning on killing the Lich that is under the tavern in the city gates. but i was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to achieve this. eg. weapons, scrolls and such. Thanks in advance.

I am also planning on going against Mencar Pebblecrusher and his groupies. Does anyone have any tactics for this? Thanks! :D

Try using the Mace of Disruption.
It can kill the undead with a single blow.

You might want to level up some before facing any large group that includes mages and backstabbing types.

Do the Skinner/Tanner quest and the Harpers quest and free the slaves in the CopperCoronet. If you are all alone you should get enough XP to get up a few levels quick.

Then try old Pebble what's his name... ;)

This is what I did at low level to kill tough enemies.

    1) Run in and shoot
    2) Run out
    3) Repeat

Do this until he runs out of spells or until Pebblecrusher's men chase you down so you deal with them one at a time. The Lich was especially easy to kill this cheesy way.

[IMG] Well, if you're all alone with your archer against the Lich you'd probably need some help! The Liches aren't easy enemies if you are not familiar with'em! Try to get someone to stand closer to him after all you will be the one at the distance (but if you're really going to face all the Liches alone, Arrows of Biting are a good choice)...and remember to get a mage to dispel his protections spells (or use Dispell Arrows)!!! Hope I've helped in something...good luck! Against the Mencar avoid direct conflict...protect yourself with whatever you can before going into battle, then it's time to use area effects attacks (like those arrows that explode in fireballs)...only after that I would advice you to go into battle...

If Entangle spell is available to you, use it. And don't forget to activate "Called Shots".

What kit are you using, if you can summon any monsters get them to distract them whilst you entangle them all that way the cant move towards you, any spells will be directed at the monsters(not you) and you can stand back and shoot them in relative saftey.
