    Hi,

I'd like to play throughout BG saga with a shapeshifter that has a life leech.
Is there some mod I could use or can it be done?
By life leech I mean stealing e.g. 50% inflicted damage as a life back, healing myself.

    Has anyone tried it before?

[IMG] There are several weapons that have the vampiric quality in which you get healed a portion of what damage you inflict, there are also several regeneration items that you can couple with that, including potions and spells you can utilise.

If you mean altering the Shapeshifters lycanthropic form where the natural weapons they gain do such damage I have not seen the like, there is a Shapeshifter-Rebalancing bit in a couple of mods though, can try and see if I can look up one of those instead.

Could you name a few such weapons? I have not seen any having vampiric abilities except blackrazor, which has it triggering by % (not excatly sure how much life is stolen) and steals stats too, which is not what I look for.
I could use a skill or a weapon (that can be wielded by druids, blackrazor can't) that would heal me with % of inflicted damage.

I'm using the refinements mod now, but there is no life leech whatsoever, just a minor regeneration which is ok.

Life leech? Well, if you want Aerie for a romantic partner ... go for it.

There is also Sarevok's +2 two-handed sword that you can find in the first dungeon, dear friend, but a druid can't use that...

May want to consider some kind of wizard multiclass for Larloch's and Vampiric Touch instead, though certain alignments receive a few of those spells for free as innate abilities.

Unfortunately, all the in-game life-draining weapons aren't fit for a druid. In addition, they always heal a very limited amount (something like 1 HP per strike). Otherwise, a melee character with stable life drain would be unkillable and thus extremely unbalanced.

You can always cheat and give your Druid the Use Any Item HLA with the help of Shadowkeeper, but then again, it won't help you that much. Your druid then will be able to use Ajatha the Drinker, the best of the lifedraining weapons IMO (except Blackrazor), in off-hand, and will heal like maximum 2 Hit Points per combat round.

There is only one weapon better than Blackrazor, but it's meant for high level Fighter/Mages (and not druids) who will make the best use of it. I mean the 9th level wizard spell, Black Blade of Disaster.

    Thanks for the replies everyone.

I wanted to make something different and solo with a werewolf. BBOD does not have any life leech too I think, and stealing 1 or 2 life per hit is pathetic :)

I do not really feel that draining ~5-10 life per hit would make the druid unkillable (also if possible it shouldn't be draining from undead). I cannot cast any spells while shapeshifted, do not have also access to spells like mirror image, mislead, even improved haste and have 3 attacks per round max.
