Every time I go near a place that sells book, I see a pile of these things ... Hillary Clinton staring at me, posters proclaiming how wonderful the book is ... media hype galore! But ... I've never actually seen someone in the checkout line with this book. Hmmm ... I wonder if some marketing is going on. Check this out ...

Is anyone here planning on buying this book (for more than a good dart board)?

I have read a very bad review about that book. It seems to affirm my general prejudice about books by "celebrities". You walk in a book store and there are like thousand covers of a smiling person, usually known from tabloids and tv. "Telling it all". "My cat and I". "How I get up in the morning and pour milk in my glass". "Being me, how wonderful it is". "How I flew in an airplaine". "Thanks for loving my TV-show". "Me, myself and my family". "Being from an old family, that's a real burden!". "I love my garden". "I have slept with more than one famous person!".

In short, overpriced books, over-publicized, omnipresent and with no content at all. Taking away space and buyers from real books.

But if your hinting here at a political discussion, how about making a book with at least some content a topic ? ;)
