I have been wondering all day who to give what bow! I currently have both Kivan and Coran in my party and was wondering what bow to give to whom. Coran has the Bracers of Archery equipped. So, who should get the Long Bow of Marksmenship and the Composite Bow +1? Should I leave the bracers of archery on Coran, as well? Thanks so much!

It's your call really... Both are good with the bow, only that Coran has 20 dex which makes him a little better, but I think Kivan is more specialized in the bow. Check their proficiencies and decide for yourself.

If I were you I would give the Long Bow of Markmenship and the Bracers of Archery to Kivan, but the only reason I suggest that is because I like Kivan very much and I never had Coran in my party. If I were you I would also look at the hitpoints. I would give the bow to the one with the fewest hitpoints That way he can fight from a distance will the one with more hitpoints gets beaten up. But like Tal said, it's your choice.

If I remember correctly, both are pretty low on hit points and should attack from a distance (although Coran can do some nice damage on backstabs, oh yes  ).
Coran is, however, the better archer, while Kivan have slightly better thac0 with melee weapons.
But again, both are but frail elves, and should use bows. Do you have both the Long Bow of Marksmanship and the Composite Longbow +1? In that case, it should be a fairly simple matter...

And about the bracers, well, it hardly matters who has them.

Long Bow of Markmanship is on one of the guys in Tazok's Tent, Bandit Camp...

Bracers of Archery are in the Cave near the Xvart village in the Cloud Peak Moutains.

I encountered there is less difference between this bow and the composite Long Bow +1.

No, the bracers of archery are in the map west of nashkel I think. From the fastest dart thrower in the west. You get bracers of AC 8 in the xvart village.
