I don't have the game yet, but have been planning to get it. Here's what I've been wondering though: Should I get the game now, and pay the $50-60 for it, or should I wait a few months while the price goes down and the bugs get addressed?

Money is not really an issue here, I can easily spare the money. In a few months, however, I'm going to have some massive expenses coming up. I can afford them even if I buy the game, but do you think I'd be happier having the extra $30 or so?

So, here's the issue, should I get the game now, or wait for a bit? Is this game that good?

[IMG] From what I've seen, it IS that good. And it shouldn't be that buggy either. Get it now.

Indeed, most of the changes in IWD-2 are very promising and from what I saw (which is unfortunately much less than Tal saw  :wail: :p  ) I'll like it. Actually I think that 3e rules and subraces will give this game a unique flexinbility in the IE series and a just as unique replayability. IWD-2 is IMO a very good investment. Go for it!

If I was in your position, I'd wait for the price to drop some. Patches will be issued which will aid game play. So what if you're not the first person in the world to finish the game? Sure I want to get the Collector's Edition right away, but I'm still slugging my way through BG2 SoA; without ToB yet too! My situation is a little different, being a family guy with insufficient time to play the games quickly. I'm lucky to get one hour of gaming in a night. :( Since I won't be able to play IWD 2 for a while, I might as well wait until the price drops to purchase it. That's what I do, but you can do what you like. ;)
