looking to make a text adventure for friend

    [​IMG] My friend just movied away with out warning. I'm not going to get into it, this isnt the place. but I want to somthing nice for him. He like adventures and I think it would be nice to write one for him. Please if you know of any free and easy to use text adventure makers, please let me know. Thankyou.

    I don't know of any personally, but I'd just search Google.ca for "text adventure creator".

    Since it is for a good cause :) , I went on some searching spree and I found this one .
    I never tried it myself, but I hope it will help you. ;)

    I use a nice one called ADRIFT which is incredibly easy to use - I don't have any kind of programming knowledge and I picked it up in five minutes flat. You can get it from: www.adrift.org.uk

    The newest version is shareware but the older version (scroll down to the bottom of the page for it) is free and generally more stable than the shareware version.

    There's also a helpful forum at http://www.adrift.org.uk/cgi/ib/ikonboard.cgi that you can use if you get stuck.
