    About the quest with Marek and Lothander... If you don't give the tome to the priestess will you die after some days or...?

    A second thing, is it possible to steal the tome from her after you've given it to her?

    Third and final. If you don't finish the quest, but finish the game first instead, will you then die in BGII?

    I usually kill her :evil: after i have completed the quest to get back the tome (no reputation change) but you should be able to pickpocket her too i guess ;)

    You won't die in BG2, if you don't finish the quest. I've tried it once. I usually pickpocket the tome from priestess or just kill everyone in Umbarlee's temple. :evil:

    Of course you can also just convince her to uncurse the geas and then just tell her you don't have the book even though you got it. just go outside and they won't even follow you :thumb:
