Magic Missle Crash in Dungeon

    [​IMG] My wizard has reached the level (with appropriate feats) where she can fire off 8 magic missles. Trouble is, if she does so in any of the dungeon battles in the temples, the game crashes. I have both Co8 and Vicks and Wedge mods installed and am fully patched. Anyone else experienced this problem and have some advice? Or do I need to simply dump my magic missle spells and use something else? I love them so much, almost as much as fireball! Thanks.

    Did not think you could get more than 5 MM? Vicks and Wedge may allow more MMs, but this is probably your problem.

    The D&D ruleset specifies a max of 5 MM's at level 9 and later. The same goes for every edition of D&D and AD&D back to 2nd edition so, it is probablly some sideeffects of the game not beeing intended for more than 10 levels.

    Yes, I think it is a V&W effect as I had 4 MM's previous to adding their mod. As long as I choose only to fire 4-5 MM's, there is no crash. I haven't tried 6-7 yet, but suspect the crash has something to do with how the game engine doesn't like V&W mod handling the rules.
