    Would a web comic with a DnD storyline be too cliche these days?

    I have most of what I need to make a comic (except for a host), but I'm concerned there are too many DnD comics out there.

    Nothing, which is why I asked for opinions.

    The overview: my experiences playing DnD, the campaign I have worked out, going from 1E to 3.5E for one person, and doing something with DnD since I can't find any games IRL.

    I think there are only a couple of good ones out there. Most start with an idea then just fizzle out (mainly due to the time involved and the process of moving on with their life). So it really depends on what perspective you bring and the commitment level. But I wouldn't have any expectations of making any money on it.

    Eh - if I had the skills to do a webcomic I think I'd aim for something more original. Why be constrained by the conventions of D&D when there are so many other stories out there? Besides, roleplaying sessions don't tend to make the best stories when taken out of context of the game.

    So, while there's nothing horribly wrong with starting a D&D webcomic, I think you could do better...
