Making the perfect Sorcerer

im trying to make the perfect scorcerer for solo in hof mode and im doin okay i just need to get the right statitics for it like how much charisma and what not anybody got ideas?

Start with a Charisma enhanced race (like Aasimar) and max out Charisma as high as it can go. In HOF, the rest of your stats probably don't matter too much (you can raise Dex to improve AC but if you get hit, you're dead anyway). I guess Constitution would be important too but really you're going to live or die by the power of your spells......

 

I would say max CHA, DEX & CON. Starting out as level 1 in HOF is going to be quite difficult. Good Luck.

i'd recommend to use a vanilla human because you really need to minmax your stats. there is an interesting comparison of human and aasimar sorcerers in one of the party guides here. in fact, i had some mail traffic with ken about that guide

 

I admire your courage. I played HOF from level 1 with a full party and barely made it through the docks--after that it gets easier. To make it you'll need summons--waste of a 1st level spell, but necessary--and Charm Person, and a lot of luck. Ignore buffs for the moment; if they hit you, you're dead anyway. Your problem will be the second warehouse. A solo may not be able to get off enough summons/charms quickly enough to survive this encounter.

 

Maxing out CHA isn't always the best idea. Again, if your sorcerer is single-classed, other stats aren't really so critical, so long as you don't have nasty penalties to HP, AC etc.

Greater Spell Penetration, Greater Spell Focus in schools you use, elemental feats.

Greater Spell Focus: Evocation plus Spirit of Flame and then Scion of Storms is a good start.
