I was playing through the game with a walkthrough and I noticed that the author uses x and y coordinates for unit locations. For example "He’s found through the door at x975 y525. ". How do you make your pointer go to that location on the map? I don't see any x or y values when I move the pointer around. If anyone could clear up my dilemma I would be very greatful.

Just press 'x' during the game. There will be the co-ordinates of the point where you mouse is positioned at the right-bottom corner.
Move your mouse, press x again for the co-ordinates at that point.
You may have to enablecheatkeys, I dont remember.
