I cant understand it but for some reason i am unable to make any notes on my map. Also there used to be map notation indicating the different taverns and houses,temples....but now there isnt. It makes it quite difficult to find certain places. However i noticed that if i load a previous (which was saved quite a while ago ) then the map notations are present. Is this a bug ? Is there something that i can i do ? I wouldnt like to go to the previous saved game...it would mean repeating many quests. I already tried to re-install but that hasnt helped any. Any ideas ?

maybe your saved game is corrupt, whoever does support interplay, black isle, whoever might be able to restore a corrupt saved game. They offered to do that for me once but then I figured out my problem was something else and fixed it.

    [IMG] Ouch...
All of those problems can be solved so easily you know...
Look at the map interface. There are buttons for it at the top. Some will move you arund the map, while clicking the one on the west end of the interface will bring up map annotations if I remember right. Pressing it again will hide it.
Once it's activated, you can place your own there by just clicking on a spot on the map.

Hope that helps. If you didn't quite get my meaning, just check your manual. It's described in there as well.

    [IMG] Heh Heh,

I guess I'm not the only one who is going squirrely :) I had the same problem early on.
I was pretty disheartened that the labels had gone away. Who needs those damn rule books anyway!
