[IMG] anybody know if this mask protects against critical hits? the reseason i ask is because my Blade can sport this fine piece of equipment and since Bards cant wear helmets it would come in handy if it did protect her from those nasty critical hits. well even if it doesn't it still looks cool on her, just wondering.

I have it on my mage...I figured, what the hell! It can't hurt. I don't know if it has any other purpose other than getting into that crypt in Windspear.

Hmmm, maybe at the very least it looks cool. I don't know though, I used True Sight after I failed to find the last piece.

Don't know, but I figure that the answer is No, because it seems that this kind of quest item has only one property... to complete a Quest.

i have a feeling your right Rasalgethi. well i guess the only way to find out is to send my Blade into combat without the Mask and hope an enemy lands a critical hit.

Yes. It does protect against critical hits.

I have my Kensai/Mage wear it and the auto feed back has said many of times that critical hit was averted by helmet.

Nice to hear that Immoral, I though that it doesn't protect... ok, well in my next game, I'll keep it for my Sorcerer :).

So the conclusion is that maybe some other items have properties that are not listed...
