[IMG] Is there a way to get the Max HP possible when you level up. I know this feature exists in BGII and IWD, but is it avaliable in BG and TOSC?

Some people save before leveling up and keep reloading 'til they get a maximum. Of course to do that is a bit sad and if you were that worried about it you could use an editor to change the 'hp' to their theoretical maximum.

[IMG] A true RPG player takes his level up and accepts whatever he gets. Just remember that constitution bonuses are a nice way to grow a lot ;).

It's random but Constitution and Class increases the Maximum and Minumum HP you can go up. (A fighter with Constitution 18 can get 14 more HP when he levels up.)

I have heard that if you have the game set for "easy" you will get max hp when levelling. Can you set it to "easy" just before levelling, get your hp, then set it back to "normal" or "difficult", and have it work the way you want???? I dunno. Worth a try?

You can change the difficulty at any time.... In BG2 you always get the maximum amount of HP that you can get.

    I don't think so.

I really don't like the random hp system at all, ok for an rpg, but pretty evil in a computer game focusing on combat :(

Well that's AD&D. You have some dices and have to role once. Luck is in every game. And it isn't normal in AD&D to have a fighter with 4 18's (or higher) etc....

That is what makes the game so enjoyable! The chance of getting good and bad stats, htus making your character more interesting to challenging to play!

Indeed, when you're Superman with 21 Constitution 19 strength 18 dex and 150 HP it ain't fun anymore fot it's all to easy. What I do with AD&D is roll (4 dices, lowest doesn't count) I first roll for stats and then I choose what class I can play best... So you don't even know what you play without rolling. Don't make the game too easy.
