    Hi all

How do I find out the max. hp per level? I'm not really sure I know it, because a ranger in my party with same dex as a thief got more HP (I tried to get as much as possible with reloading)????? Can someone explain this to me please?

yes, it's not that advanced when you get the hang of it.
first of all the different classes have different hit dice.

    Figters/Rangers/Paladin: 1d10
    Clerics/Druids: 1d8
    Thieves/Bards: 1d6
    Spellcasters: 1d4

The bard might have 1d8, can't remember.
when you level a dice is thrown and you will get the hp shown. If you're a ranger and levels up, you get to throw 1, 8 sided dice and the number shown is your HP.

now for the Constitution modifer. From 1-9(9 included) you will recieve a con modifier for to HP.

    Con: +hp (+hp for fighter/paladin/ranger)
    3-5: -1
    6-14: 0
    15: +1
    16: +2
    17: +2(+3)
    18: +2(+4)
    19: +2(+5)
    20: +2(+5)
    21: +2(+6)
    22: +2(+6)
    23: +2(+6)
    24: +2(+7)
    25: +2(+7)

so a thief wouldn't get any extra HP added pr level with a con of 18 than if she had had a con of 16

When you reach the 10th level, you level get the following HP pr levelup, no rolling and no con modifier.

    Fighter/ranger/paladin: 3
    Clerics/Druids: 2
    Rogues: 2
    Spellcasters: 1

Not sure if you ever get over 10th level without the cap removers or unofficial addons

    [EDIT]

Yeah, sorry. 1d10 of course, I must have been tired :coffee: hehehe :)

    Ah, Lokken Fighters/Rangers/Paladins get 1d10 not 1d8. ;)

Also I thought Rogues and Mages got a dice roll at Level 10, and after that just got the 2 HP and 1 HP. Correct? :hmm:

It is true Lokken the Bard does get 1d6.

If you want Max HP just turn the "difficulty counter" one tag to the left. The only thing this does it to give you max HP each time. It doesn't ruin your game difficulty in any other way. And it saves you from numerous reloads.
