What are max levels that fighter/mages and mage/thieves can reach in BG2 and what cap is set on XP?

Cap is 2.950.000. So You could easily get to be As a fighter/mage it is 13/13 and mage/thief it is 13/16

Import Your character. It is much more fun. And if YOu have Completed Tales of the sword coast he should have more xp than the PC's generated in BG2

    [IMG] XP cap is 2,950,000.

Multiclass characters divide their earned xp equally between all classes so a mc Fighter/Mage would max out at level 13/13. Too bad for them since they're only 25,000 xp short of level 14 in both classes.

Cleric/Thief fits better with the xp cap maxing out at Cle-14/Thi-16, giving you level 7 spells.

Fighter/Mage/Thief can reach level 11/12/14, not too shabby when compared to other mc sharacters.

Ohhh... how much I'd hate to be limited with 2 lvl6 spells and lvl 13 fighter qualities... I'll make my first run with it neways, of pure duty :)

BTW In BG you can dualclass to a spec. mage and in BG2 you cant (AFAIK)
what if I import a dc from bg (with spec. mage as second class) to bg2?
