These are on the promo in a shop near to where one of my student lives, so I can get one or two if they're worth playing, though I don't have the time to play all of them, anyway, being quite busy with other things. So which ones are worth it? Of them all, Lionheart is for like two bucks, so the only thing that matters is if it's worth the time you spend playing the game. The other ones are at about the same price.

 

I'd take the Jedi games myself. I've 'played' (ie - acted as GIB for hubby who plays them ) both and think they're great. The others I don't know much about except Lionheart. I think it's a RTS where you can control an English army. Remember, 'think' is the key word here.

But, for a couple of bucks, I'd get them all! <cheep, cheep, cheep>

i would say jedi outcast. Its start was rather slow and boring, standard first person shooter. When you character gets the light sabre and force ability, everything changed. Jedi Acedemy is, rather, an expansion to jedi outcast. It lets you do whatever you wished to do if you had a great time in jedi outcast, dual sabres, staff sabre etc.

Since lionheart is 2 bucks, you should get lionheart as well. Actually, buy all lionheart your store can offer. Save the innocents who might be tricked to play the game. This might be only good you have done in your whole life.

 

I've only played the two Jedi games, and I preferred Academy. However, it's rather easy; excluding the cutscenes, the end fight took in the region of 5 seconds on the highest difficulty. Alternatively, play it without Force Speed, if you want a challenge.

The level design of Academy is rather dull though. Outcast has fun moments, like sucking stormtroopers out into space and laughing at their screams. It's also a harder game I found, but that was before my excessive use of Speed, so it may be just as ridiculously easy.

 

Get the Jedi games and Lionheart (Not bad for that price)

Oddly, Outcast is much superior to Academy, but both are fun.

 

Outcast is great. Academy is good (though I'm biased in favour of Kyle rather than Jaden). Both games contain some of the most fun enemy killing methods, like the infamous choke push or jump pull.

Never played the rest of them.

 

Lionheart got a lot of negative output, but one can only decide what it's like after playing it in person, which i did and i must say it was amusing enough. I even paid full price, go figure. If it's only two bucks, then i don't know what's holding you back. If you like straight forward hack&slash, you'll enjoy this one, and even if you don't....hey...it's two friggin bucks, what more can you ask for ?

Mighty friendly of you Kuemper, and also much appreciated, but like i expected, those reviews are pretty onesided. Don't forget that the reviewer's taste doesn't necessarily has to match yours. The Lionheart review was just another cold example of someone who played a game, of which he most likely expected a little more. The game didn't satisfy his needs, and out comes this relatively bitter review. People like that shouldn't be allowed to write reviews, that's why i rather read opinions of multiple people on messageboards. If 20 people spontanuously say that a certain game sucks, i believe that, if one reviewer does, i need to know more first before drawing any conclusions.

Both the Jedi games are well worth getting (though as has been said, Outcast's first couple levels are deadly dull).

You get to kill stormtroopers by the dozen. What more could you ask for?

 

I would suggest the Jedi games as well - Outcast is probably better, but I like Academy since you can choose your characters appearance, species, lightsaber and the old dark side light side conflict.

Also, you get to shoot around on one of those speeders from RoTJ

 

I wouldn't recommend Armies of Exigo. There is no AI, just an opponent who can produce armies much faster than you and rushes all the time (boring) Warcraft III is much better.
Jedi Outcast is indeed the better choice. I found Jedi Academy to be amusing, but not as good as outcast.
Lionheart can be fun in the beginning because of the setting, but becomes boring after a while.
