    Just wondering if any of you LOTR fans have ever seen Meet The Feebles. It's an older film created by the same director as LOTR although I'd say the mood of the movie is drastically different.

    I found it entertaining in a kind of morbid why-did-I-watch-that way.

    "Drastically different" is putting it mildly! Meet the Feebles is a New Zealand cult classic movie. Please don't take this as any indication of the NZ psyche.

    For anyone who has not seen it, it is pretty much about a bunch of puppets who kill each other in very gory fashion.

    I haven't see Meet the Feebles, but I'm tempted now. Wasn't Peter Jackson also responsible for "Bad Taste?"

    Yes, Muppets on acid would be a good description. And, yes, Meet the Feebles is in the same general category of grossness as Bad Taste (another New Zealand cult classic).

    In any case, I'd say the acting in Meet the Feebeles is incomparably better than in LoTR.
