First time you take an item (eg a +1 sword) to a merchant you get 100% for it, 2nd time some what lower, 3rd time loower again. Anyone know what those numbers are and what it stabilises at?

Bottom limit's 1gp I suppose. The more identical items a merchant already has, the lower prices you'll get for selling them. So don't sell all of the same stuff in one place.

[IMG] I believe there are three possible price levels for a merchant. Full price when he has none, medium price when he has bought that item once and a low price when he has bought said item more than one time.
It might be that some merchants only have two price levels, not three.

So prices will not just continue to drop after each sale. The low price is quickly reached. One easy way to check this in the game is with all the Longbows you might have after leaving Irenicus Dungeon.

[IMG] If you want to get maximum value for the item , when you have more than 1 "+1 sword" make sure all of them are in 1 persons back pack, click on all of them and then "seel" them. The merchant will give you full price . But when you click and sell each one you get supply and demand.

From my experience - there are also merchants who will pay 'Top' price level till some 5-10 items.
