Am I the only one who watched this that didn't love it? The first half was great, but the second half was just depressing. I don't want to give away too much, but this can't be the best film of the year. Morgan and Hilary are great, Clint wasn't bad but at some points I can see Clint is just acting. Disappointing.

Sorry, but I like a movie where something unexpected happens. One of my favorite movies is The Usual Suspects -- although I had friends who CLAIMED they saw the ending coming. Granted, I wouldn't want to watch Million Dollar Baby anytime, but it was damn good.

Unexpected? I saw this coming from a mile away. If you are going to make a twist in the movie, do it so it makes the movie better, not worse.

The Usual Suspects was great in that the unexpected made it better, especially because it happened in the end. The twist in MDB happens halfway through and makes the rest of the movie anticlimatic.

If your friends say they saw the ending coming in the Usual Suspects, I think they should join up in law enforcement.

Thank goodness the Academy voted with their heads rather than their hearts and didn't give it to Scorcese for the Aviator.

Yeah, from what I hear, the Aviator really sucked. I am glad to they gave it to MDB rather than this one too. Anyone see Sideways?

It cannot be as bad as 'About Smidt' or 'Lost in Translation'. Both of those movies bored me to tears. The latter had a dominatrix and a strip club, it was still boring, instead of shocking.

I saw the film about half an hour ago. It was great, but so confronting. Something can happen to anyone of us at any time that ruins our life. It really made me think about our extreme vulnarability.

The first part was just good to watch, made me wanna start practising some fighting sport.

    Oh, and great acting!

Perhaps I shouldn't post my opinion right after seeing a film, but well, I'm doing it anyway. :p
