[IMG] Can this Lumbar dude leave town or die or something before you try to find him and all his precious lumber? I've spent a good 2o+ minutes wandering Targos and he is not near the crane or in the pub or really anywhere in town. We actually even tried starting a whole new game to see if we could find him -- and he's there if we start all over again. But, in our current game (4 days in) he just isn't there. We are stuck. Has anyone else experienced a missing Lumbar Grundwall?

Did you speak to the dwarf engineer at the hole in the palisade wall first? Perhaps Lumbar doesn't appear until after you speak to the dwarf? (I don't recall.)

He should be there before you talk to the dwarf; I can't think of why he wouldn't be other than a bug.

Ye, Lumbar's always been bickering around the crane in all of my games - never seen him anywhere else or missing. Sounds like some sort of a bug or a mess-up.

He definitely should be there. If he had died the game would have stopped since he is needed for a main quest.

Thanks guys. It must be a bug. I guess this means I'll have to start again. Dang.

You know, we could not find the dwarven shipbuilder in our MP game. He was there in the beginning, but then he was gone. So we consoled the crane wheel into our game and everything worked. You can create the wheel by a cheat, put it into the crane, and it may work.

The dissapearing NPCs is a very annoying bug though and our games were both patched. :(
