mod install order

    I currently have these mods installed with no problems,DBG,UNDERREP,ITEM UPGRADE,ABBY STORE,SP ITEM PACK,SOLAUFEIN,TACTICS,BOM,EASE OF USE,RTT KITS,RTT ITEM PACK,SONG & SILENCE,ASHES OF EMBERS,EXXEM VAULT,THIEF STRONGHOLD,ROLLES,RUAD,DARK RITUAL. I want to install some mods like PLANAR SPHERE & DEEPER SHADOWS OF AMN, but when I try it always says no dialog.tlk do these need to be installed before some of the others.

    Can't help with where in your order they can be installed. Are you installing from your BG2 folder? The mods should be extracted to BG2 folder and you install from there. That might be why they can't find your dialog.tlk file.

    @ TAL i know i was just wondering if the order might affect them somehow, because after i posted i was able to install unfinished business with no problems. @ KUEMPER i know how to install the mods just have some that wont.

    I don't think all mods on that list are WeiDU... I'm not sure about RTT, for one. Or if you can just install those two RTT components separately...

    @TAL all of those mods are Weidu, on my Weidu text doc. those are listed. currently have no mods installed that are not Weidu to my knowledge. but read somewhere that some mods need to be installed before others that replace the dialog.tlk file. that was why I asked

    If you are getting the message that dialog.tlk cannot be found then you are not running the installer in your BG2 directory. The default path is the game's name in c:/Program Files/Black Isle/

    not that, getting message skipping planarphere mod v2 TOB REQUIRED. now I know I have TOB installed. so why would it say this?

    Perhaps the mod is coded in a way that some systems will fail the ToB file-check... your best bet would be to ask at the mod's forum which is http://forums.spellholdstudios.net and let them know which mods you're using. I'd also mention whether you are running a full install or not, and the exact error messages.
