Ok. my current game is almost done and I'm plotting out my next one.

I have in the following order I do believe.

The Monk HLA portion of the Oversight Mod.
    Kelsey ToB
    Ascension

I've got picked out Saerileth and I'm thinking Unfinished business as well to install into my game for this next go around.

Can I just Add them in or do I need to fix my order or what? I want to have the absolute minimum of problems I can have and have never been able to really understand what you guys talk about about install order.

INSTALLATION ORDER FOR BALDUR'S GATE II: THRONE OF BHAAL

1.) Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
2.) Baldur's Gate II: Throne of Bhaal
3.) Official Bioware Patch for ToB
    4.) Baldurdash Fixpacks for ToB
    5.) Create a clean backup
6.) dialog.tlk-overwriting mods (Only one dialog.tlk-overwriting mod can be installed. See the Big Picture install guide for step-by-step instructions)
**OR** Total Conversions (no other mods should be installed after TC's)¹
    7.) IAP/SFX mods
    8.) WeiDU Mods²³†‡

    * - Optional
¹ - Note that only one of these mods can be installed a time
² - While generally WeiDU-based mods can be installed in any order, it is wisest to install older mods first, and mods that are often updated near the end
³ - Note that the following mods should be installed last or as close as possible to last:

    Ashes of Embers
    Cleric Remix
    Sorcerer's Place Collection
    BG2 Refinements
    G3 Tweak Pack
    Virtue
    Ashes of Embers
† - To ensure that all NPC interactions are implemented properly, install WeiDU-Ascencion, then Solaufein, Kelsey, and finally Keto. Similarly, install the Crossmod Banter Pack after *all* NPC mods have been installed
‡ - WeiDU-Ascension, which should probably be installed near the top in the mod order, must be installed before Redemption or The Longer Road. Classic Ascension is obsolete and should not be installed.

    Hope this helps. ;)

Ummm I think so but let me make sure.

    Patches are first.

Then I want to Have Ascension-WeiDU as one of the first things like I do. Then I can basically install whatever after that?

But if I install stuff that tweaks the game engine and item packs I should try to save those for last?

I could have sworn I installed Kelsey After Ascension but that's not the order they are in in my WeiDU log file. Because I've gone through Ascension already and Kelsey was only added for this last game.

With WeiDu it really doesn't matter when you install the mods - with a few exceptions.
You have to think it wisely through still, ie tweak packs could alter weapons added by item packs. Do you want that?
Otherwise try to search the boards for intallation order, it has been discussed before. If I remember correct Olimkrig has several posts in wich he states the order, og links to other pages wich states the order. Icelus at PPG(?) has a nice post with it at PPG (I think or is it G3??).

I've read some of those. But These are really the first Mod's I've ever messed with. Part of how I learn is by doing and So after reading several of them I decided to ask as goes for me. Once I understand that then It's easier to understand the more complex stuff you guys throw in.

But it sounds like I'm alright if I just keep installing the new ones on top of what I have.
