I have started a monk and I got some questions about how good a monk is...
I have gotten past... cant remember his name, the monk in the fortress in the desert who was also a bhall spawn. I have encountered some problems later on with the ravager... he seems to be almost invulnerable to all attacks with by my 5+ weapons and I cant hurt him in unarmed combat myself... how would you propose killing him?? I have tried to go at him in a lot of ways without prevailing.
can you give me a strategy?

Also... in adventures mart... upon returning from the underdark there has always popped a woman up selling stuff from sigil in planescape: torment
why didnt she show up this time?

The woman from Sigil is one of the bonus merchants. If you don't have the collector's edition you have to install her separately- have you recently done a reinstall perhaps?

The Ravager should be hittable with +5 weapons, even with your +4 fists, so I doubt that's the problem. He does have 75% weapon resistance IIRC though so it will take a lot of hits to bring him down. Try some HLAs. He also has 90% magic resistance.

I am pretty sure she appears by default with TOB installed. When I installed the Bonus Merchant fix, I only had to install the fix for Joluv(?) who appears outside the copper coronet. Diedrie was already installed. This was after a brand new, clean install of SoA and TOB.

The Ravager should be hittable with +4 weapons, so provided your monk is high enough in level, his fists should hit as +4 weapons.

I believe I am around lvl 30, he also seems to regenerate at a amaseing rate...
I have reinstalled yes... and I installed ToB after I had gotten into SoA, but that shouldnt make her dissappear... I have never had any mod's or other things installed, only the patch and I have had her before.
