hi, i´m new to this forum, but i just wanted to knpw if anyone knows about any acceptable D&D game becaus as you may notices i dont know that much of games.
I already played the icewind dale saga, and the baldurs gate saga and wanted to know if anyone knows of games similar to both ice wind and baldur´s cus im getting bored and dont know what game(s) to buy.
I only wish games that are similar to baldurs gate or icewind dale, unless the game u speak of is really cool.
Also is the game pool of radiance worth it?

 

I would say play Planescape:Torment.

... there's a number of forums here in SP that are dedicated to D&D games, you might want to check it out yourself. Pool of Radiance also have it's forum here. Visit it to know if it is worth it.

BTW, welcome to SP.

 

Play Neverwinter Nights though be ware that it needs a decent system to run on (it's not nearly as difficult to run as say Morrowind but needs as I said a halfway decent system to run on.) Oh, welcome to SP by the way.

Don't overlook Arcanum. It's another good game. Although, it's not Black Isle.

And Dungeon Siege is worth looking into as well.

Give Arcanum a try before Dungeon Siege.

Arcanum isn't Baldur's Gate or Icewind. It's got some similarities, but there's enough difference to make it a completely different kind of game.

Very, very good playing experience. Role Playing; capitalized and emphasized. The story is fairly decent, as well.

 

Might wanna try Divine Divinity as well

here´s a nice thread concerning dungeon siege, i´d still not recommend it to anyone who played bg or iwd. worst spent 50 bucks in 2002 for me...

 

Fallout 1 and 2 dual pack for 10 bucks. Both are very good! You don't want to miss out on playing these gems.

 

There are two games that take place a little further in time than D & D. Jagged Alliance I & II. I've only played JA II. Its cool, you play a mercenary.
There is also Star Trek Away Team. If you are a trekkie, you should enjoy it. Its not exactly an CRPG, but close.
