Who are your favorite characters from the shows? Here are some of mine:

ST: Kirk and Spock

Next Gen:
Worf, Picard, and Reg Barclay...I also thought Ensign Lefler (Ashley Judd) and Worf's babe Kaylar were both hotties!!!

DS-9:
Sisco and Dax

Voyager:

Parris

I have no clue who my favorite would be. Either Data or Worf probably. Picard was great. I still order "Earl Grey, hot" as often as I can.

Bones (Dr. McCoy) from the Original Series was cool. I liked the way him and Spock would rib on each other. "Damn it Jim, I'm a doctor, not a gladiator."

I never liked the other shows (Voyager or DS9), the only good thing about them is that they went off the air and stopped disgracing the Star Trek name (yeah, I know I'll get flamed for that one, don't care )

 

Im not sure about best character, but best captain, without doubt, is PICARD. If not for his voice, he also gets all the best lines

 

I like all Star Treks and think it is almost impossible to choose a favourite character.

TOS: I like the Spock-McCoy combination and like Scotty. Scotty: "I know this ship like the back of my hand." after which he bumbs his head into a what's it called in English. You know ST:V

TNG: Data is funny and in the movies, where he gets his emotion chip he says some very funny things. Data: "I think I speak for the whole crew when I say, to hell with our orders.

DS9: I like Quark, Rom (his stupidity makes him funny) Dax (Jadzia and Ezri).

Voy: Neelix, Tuvok and The Doctor are the ode types and I like them.

 

Voyager ruled Mathetais!!!

Janeway of course my fave in that series being the redhead she is.

Worf definately in STNG

Hated original Star trek, talk about lame actors and special effects, but i guess Spock was ok.

Dax in Deepspace 9

I think the new series is more of a money grab then any of the others. I think that roddenbury is turning in his grave over what they have done to Star Trek.

 

Janeway was not a redhead...She was a brunette. I agree with you Mat, Voyager was the worst of the bunch! (Sorry Kit, but it was cheese!)

DS-9 was okay...It got better once Worf got there! I totally forgot about Quark! He was fantastic! I also like the guy at the bar that never said anything.

I like the new one so far. I think Scott Bakula is great, so I hope the show takes off! I'm hoping it's a lot darker and more violent than the "later" incarnations. The vulcan is a hottie too! I'm interested in seeing where it goes.

Since this marathon has kicked off, I think Next Gen is my all-time favorite! Great cast! Great small character development! I just remembered ensign Ro too! She is another great character from that series!

 

My favorite character was Chakotay on Voyager. After him comes Paris, on Voyager. The character I hated most was Seven of Nine. She couldn't act, and she really wasn't all that attractive, except when she was in a starfleet uniform. I will agree Picard was the best captain, followed by Sisko, then Kirk, then Janeway (always wanted Chakotay to just take over!). my favorite series, though was NG, then DS9, then Voyager, then original. Enterprise is looking pretty good, hopefully they'll mature like the other casts.

As for me I cant speak for TOS I am to young
TNG not shure probably Data
DS9 Odo was rather interesting
Voyager: No Idea perhaps the doc.
My problem with it is if they where going to rush home the should have doen that with an absolut minimum of science off shoots or they should have diched going home as fast as posible and hoped they got lucky.

Enterprise I just hope it is good.

 

Heh, IMO the only reason to watch Voyager was Seven of Nine.... I didn't like DS9 either.

Next Generation was definitely the best series. Picard is the best character of all, but Data and Worf (sp?) are cool too. Of the original, Spock was the best. Kirk was fairly cool, but too egotistical. Maybe Shatner's ego spoils it for me though, I don't know.
