[IMG] I had just downloaded the Moritori(sp?) class and after a few hours playing SoA with it, I realised that it is more of the castrated kind of Kensai, with a few special perks and immunities, which, IMHO comes too late in the game to do much difference anyway.

Firstly, he could not wear virtualy any gear, including amulets and sftuff, except for the head stones.
Then, he cannot even dual class, unlike the similarly disadvantaged Kensai.
He seems more a monk with weapons usage, wizard slayer without armour and total magical restriction with no magic resistance! And a Kensai with no combat bonuses.

What do you guys think about this?
Or is there a better way to play this class?

Did you get a readme for the class, with the class description? read that and you'll find out what you need to know, before coming here and asking a question like that, sheesh.

Well, i did but I am just asking for opinions, and not to get flamed...

@casey: I played the Morituri and then, I find that the abilities are not really complementing it. A fighter with no dual-class ability is nerfed.

Whatever, back to the topic. I assure you, I have no hard feelings.
In remembrance of dear friend Casey: sheesh... :D

    Yes, well, anyway...

As for the hard feelings I had one of those jeckle and hyde moments (see here)

And NO I'm not drunk ;)

But as for the Morituri kit he's basically a mix of barbarian, Monk, kensai, with a bunch of resistances a half decent ac (at later levels) and an item penalty which is supposedly compensation, but I've played this guy to level 30 and trust me he becomes so overpowered he could easily kill nearly any other in the game maybe even Drizzt (the novel version by R.A Salvatore, not the game) at max level, I'd suggest using him solo or at the most in a party of four and he will eventually max out, and by then he's probably better then any duel or M/C fighter except the F/M.
