[IMG] As you may know if you've played Planescape: Torment far enough, when you enter the Lower Ward for the first time with Morte in your party, he is immediately kidnapped by some damn wererats.

Well I've just gotten Morte back from that bastard Lothar by giving him the skull of the Silent King in exchange. But when Morte returned to the party, all the items in his inventory were gone, like Ingress' teeth, that magical reflective frame thing, and that magical water bottle that's always full of fresh water, and maybe some other stuff too...?

What the hell! Where did that stuff go!? How can I get it all back!? Bastard Lothar!

Please keep further spoilers to a minimum in your answers, please. (I hate spoilers! hehehehe)

I seem to recall that it was dropped at the "scene of the crime" (i.e., where Morte was kidnapped). If it's been too long, it might have disappeared, in which case your only hope is to go back to an earlier save or find an editor to put it back into the inventory.

[IMG] Okay, I found that. YAY! But no, wait! The pile contained all of the items that were in Morte's regular inventory slots. But two other items are missing from the whole: One of them was in one of Morte's Quick Weapon slots--Ingress' Teeth. The other was some kind of magical power-reflecting frame that was in one of his Quick Item slots.

What happened to those? Are those supposed to be lost? I don't even know if they're supposed to be lost or not, but they sure are at the moment.

    Please help!

I thought it all got dropped in the same place. Sorry I cannot be of more help to you.

[IMG] Lemme ask that in a different way.

Are the two items I mentioned are missing because of being in Quick slots in instead of in regular Inventory slots a bug? Or is that the way the game is really supposed to be by its original design?

I would not see a reason why they should disappear. That is not a bug I have ever encountered.

Plot items do not degrade if dropped. So it depends on what he was carrying.

Morte was carrying the two aforementioned items (each in a Quick slot) and several keys already used at least once and that fresh water bottle that is always full--all those were in regular Inventory slots and were recoved from a pile on the ground near where he had been kidnapped previously.

So what about those two Quick items: Should they be missing, or no?

No, everything in the inventory is normally dropped in such cases. Just recreate what's missing via one of the editors available on SP.

The decanter of endless water is a quest item. Most keys are also quest items. Quest items do not disappear if left on the ground. I don't think you have a bug here -- you just took too long to pick up the non-quest items.

As dmc said, go to an earlier save or use an editor to get them back.

[IMG] Aw, man. I've used multiple editors but can't get a working hacked-save with one of my party members carrying the two aforementioned items (Ingress' Teeth and the Sadistic Frame).

Perhaps someone could successfully hack/edit my save-game file here:
    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/19002945/TORMENT.GAM

    OR
Can someone recommend a particular editor that will work properly?

    Thanks in advance!

Nevermind! I tried yet another editor and it worked properly. Problem solved! Thanks, folks! :)
