Most experience is gained from completing quests, not from Monster killing.

[IMG] Most experience is gained from completing quests, not from Monster killing even if the difficulty is set to hardest, right?

Basically yes - you get plentyful xp when silly Anomen get´s knighted, when wiping out Maer´Var´s nest and so on. Some other quest´s just give you some 5k xp ... despite that some of the major enemies like dragons give still some 55k xp/ 64k xp - you can´t really generalize it. I use to take every xp I can get ... ;)

  3. [IMG] Except when you get to Underdark, you are correct. But UD has some very juicy XP monsters that "eye" think you ought to make sure you take on.

A little trick I used to pump up some levels is I reformed my party, sitting three characters out. Then a larger percent of those XP's went to my main character.
