Fighters get a lot of choice in which weapons they can play around with, so I decided that I'd make a new Beserker (my favourite fighter type  ) that has Grand Mastery in Daggers (5*) and Dual Wield (3*).

I know that it was hard at first since you do need magical weapons often, but since there are random encounters in Athkatla that give magical daggers (and they are fairly cheap) I thought that this would be fun.

Finally got him built up and through the Underdark. Now he his level 19 and uses Boneblade+4 (offhand) and Pixie Prick +3. This way the offhand thac0 penalty is slightly less and he gets 4 attacks with Pixie Prick that can cause sleep. It's really fun to see the mosters fall asleep while stabbing away. Can't wait to get the Dagger of Stars +4 upgraded to +5. :D

I thought that it would be junk damage, but with one of the Giant Strength Girdles (Frost? in the Underdark Kuo-Toa area) my highest damage with a critical hit was still around 48-50 points. :aaa:

I'm wondering what other unusual combos other players have used in dual wielding and how effective (or not) they have found them. :)

I cannot detach myself from a Scimitar/Axe, it just looks SO good.
My half-elf, currently a Bard(blade); with (***) in Two Weapon, (*) in Scimitar and (*) in axes, wields Belm+2(offhand) and Frostreaver+3 . He looks awesome!
Still in SoA by the way. Solo game.

Why do I get an aneasy feeling that this is just another topic saying "My Crom Faeyr and Celestial Fury is better than your Crom Faeyrs and Blackrazor!"

*Sigh* The topic is Most Unusual Dual Wielding Topics. Please read in future.

Oh, I'm sorry I meant to say that Minsc was dual wielding with a frying pan and pipe wrench! Is that unusual enough?

Part of what makes dual weapon combos "unusual" is who/what class is wielding them. And IMO, a ranger wielding a flail and katana would not be condered "normal...

I once had Minsc dual-wielding flail of ages and skullcrusher +3. A mace and a flail. How's that for unusual?

That's a great idea :) , too bad the game won't let you "dual wield" a fist! It would be fun to see a monk do this, but they can't use warhammers. If only they could dual class...

I want to make a charcter that dual wields staff maces! They are one handed! and lets have 5 * quarterstaff!
