Alrighty, right now I'm in the middle of chapter 2 in SoA, and I'm bored. I've played SoA many, many times, and it is an unbelievable game, but I want to move on to ToB.

However, I want to keep my current party with all their items and stats. I don't want to finish playing SoA, just go to ToB. But, I do want to start ToB as if I had finished SoA (and i want to do the last chapter in SoA).

How can I jump to Chapter 7, while keeping the story the same (as in, so there are no screw-ups with Irenicus and stuff)?

And if I do that, will it screw up my Jaheira Romance, which is unfished as of now?

And help would be great, thanks.

Yes, it will screw up your Jaheira romance. I think you MIGHT be able to summon her in the Planar Pocket, but I highly doubt you will be able to pick up where you left off, in anyway.

As for your items and stats, you will have to SK and CLUA them in, because you cannot just move to ToB in the middle of chapter 2 and expect all your stuff to be the same.

As for your party, just summon who you want from that spirit/statue in the PP.

AFAIK, the story doesn't change with Irenicus no matter WHAT you do...so I don't really know what you're asking here.

Isn't there the option to import your party to TOB?
IIRC it doesn't screw up the romance.

No, when I meant screw ups with Irenicus, I meant, will it think I killed him, as in the ending of SoA, or ...?

And is there anyway I can speed everything up so that I can just jump to chapter 7 (i.e. Nine Hells and places) so that it will think I've already done Spellhold and the Underdark?

And thanks for all the help so far.

You might just blast through SoA as quickly as you can - pay off a faction, go to Spellhold, race through, take the portal to the Underdark, head to the Kuo-Toa caves and fight/Bribe your way through the guards. Head straight after Bhodi and then straight to the big show-down. You get a few more levels, and a good number of items, without much wait.

It doesn't take THAT long you know...once I was soloing a Fighter/Thief through the game...and I managed to finish Irenicus' fight in 2 days flat...and I wasn't playing that much either.

TOB included, my fastest is 2.5 days...

2.5 days?! That's insane. It took me many months and I didn't even do all the quests.

Is he talking 2 days game time or 2 days real time? In game time, that'd be practically impossible without cheating.

Actually, its quite possible. You can finish this game in 10 hours if you want. I doubt it will be a fun experience though.
Knowing Faraaz, it probably even took him a lot less time... :p

Well, if it's real time then I've finished it in 1 day, game time 20 or 30.
