Multi-classed feats don't show up or not there?

Heres the dilemma...I chose a rogue to start off for lvl 1, then chose a ranger for level 2. Then by the time i got to choose feats a couple levels later, i noticed that the ranger feats seem to be missing....im talking about the feats that rangers earn at level one...mainly ambidexterity and two weapon fighting.

Every where I look, it says that the ranger earns the feats at level 1, does that mean lvl 1 of the ranger class, or lvl 1 of the character class????

and assuming that I DONT have them, I can choose either: ambidex... or two weapon fighting when i lvl up with a rogue, but when i level up with the ranger, the two feats are not there.

So, overall, do I have the feats or not?
    Can someone explain this?

So dual-wield is basically those 2 skills combined in one??
Cause i did some trial and error with the rogue lvl up, and investing in 2 weapon fighting, improves my attack bonus....is this basically investing in the same skill twice, some im getting double the bonuses?

The Ranger feat is a special one that provides Ambidexterity and Two-Weapon Fighting, with I believe the proviso that the Ranger is wearing light armor only.

Yes it was a mistake taking the skill twice.

But the Dual wield of theRanger is tricky too. For example you can not combine the Ranger's 2 weapon fight with the "regular" improved 2 weapon fight. You have to take 9 Ranger levels for that skill or 6 in case of Ranger 3.5...

going back to one of my original classes, when they say a ranger gains those skills at level 1, is it level 1 of the class, or level one of the character?

You get them at your first ranger level.
