Multi-classing and the Stronghold quests.

    How does this work? Do you get to do any and all of the stronghold quests if you're multi-classed, or do you only get one?

    If only one, do you choose which stronghold quest to go for, or is it chosen for you?

    You're supposed to get only one - the first one related to one of your classes that you complete. But I believe you can get two if one of your classes is a fighter, as long as you get the Keep after you get the other one.

    Confirmation is here. Slunge is correct.

    Just make sure that you get the Fighter Stronghold (D'Arnise Keep) after you start the stronghold of your other class, whatever it may be.

    @Mystra - do you have to start the other quest first, or finish it?

    Also, there is a mod to get multiple strongholds; you can find it in this list

    Install the Weidu mod file! This will allow you to have all the strongholds and romance all the characters. Definitely cool!

    I can only confirm it works with the fighter/mage or fighter/thief combinations. It may be possible with other fighter/xxxxxx combinations but I'm not certain.

    What I did was to do the fighter stronghold first, but when Nalia offers you the stronghold then tell her you aren't ready yet. Go do the other stronghold quest, accept it and then go back and collect your fighter stronghold.

    It's a known bug; Nalia's script is missing some checks to see if you already have a stronghold before she offers you the keep. Characters, including multi- and dual-class, are supposed to only get one stronghold.

    A cool bug though. I can confim that my Kensai/Thief got two strongholds. I can't remember if I started them simultaniously. sorry.
