[IMG] Yup that's right I finaly got ye olde BG1 working with ye not so olde Bg2 Engine

Since it's been a very long time since I played the original Baldur's Gate so my memory of NPCs is somewhat... lacking to say the least.

My Char is Ofelix, a CN Bard (Can't decide either to be Blade or Jester ;) )
    With obviously low WIS.

I want a party of no BG2 npcs since I'll continue afterward and I want to taste some of the coolest BG char. Except for Imoen, because well, she's Imoen and I'll romance her in BG2 (Despite being the PC's half sis)

Is a Bard in BG1 a sufficient Arcane caster? If yes than I'll probably need Tanks Scout and Healer

    I thought of;

Imoen - Trap dealer / lock / Dual Class to an Illussionist at 10,000 XP
Kivan - My main Ranged «tank» with the Archer Kit
Coran - Scout and maybe Backstab dealer
«That stoned Chick» (forgot her name) - My main healer, because she's a Cleric

For the Tank I don't know, maybe Ajantis because you can get him early, or Yeslick for more clerical prowess?

If I go the Blade way I'll be using him as a support Tank but as a Jester I don't see the advantages beside RP reason ;)

Also I'm not sure where to get all these NPCs...

So what do you think of it?

Looks good, and Ajantis is a good tank to go with. Your bard'll be just fine alongside Immy, and really you don't need any magic at all to win the game.

    rotflmaouip
Thank you. :) I have just had the Day From Hell, and I really needed that; imagining Branwen high on weed is so f***ing hilarious. :shake:

    Immy should get you ;)
Ajantis is in the area just north of FAI; he's along the path you see if you head straight north from where you come in (head west along it first, then east if you don't find him)
Kivan is in the High Hedge area; just follow the path you see after coming from Beregost
Branwen is in the nashkel Cirucs area; look for the little halfling thief/scroll-scalper
Coran is on the bridge in the northwest corner of the first Cloakwood area

Really, you can't miss any of them if you follow the beaten path. ... Unless Tutu moves them, but that would be needlessly complicated.

Awww I did not meant «stoned» as the result of smoking marijuana, but you know... A Stone, Rock? I figured Stone (rock) + ''Ed''... silly you  That's what happen when non native speaker think of english word :rolling:

I've start it, and My Blade and Imoen killed THREE black bears just outside Candlekeep with Hit and Run tactic! XP galore!

Tutu doesn't move any of them that I have found yet. Branwen is a snobby b****h but she can tank pretty well if equipped right. Ajantis is already a tank. Kivan is an awesome archer in plain BG, I can only imagine that he will be better with the arcane archer kit.

Question of curiosity, did you use Easy Tutu, or his older brother? I went Easy Tutu, and I have had no problems with it.

    Hello -

    EasyTutu.

If you are not averse to using some mods, I recommend giving BG1NPC a good look. It will give whatever party you decide upon a lot more life (very well-written BG2-style banters and romances).

Also, Tutu Tweak Pack has lots of good tweaks to cut down on annoyances like inventory management.

Well no, and I don't see the point in doing so if I've already installed Tutu the «other» way. Anyway I'm having real fun wheeee  :rolling:
