My computer died...

    Well, last wekk my hard drive got fried, so I'm unable to use the internet for about another week or so. I've only been able to get online once or twice since then from the computers at the city library, but as soon as I get the ISP CD in the mail, I'll be back here posting as usual...oh yeah, now that I have a new HD that's twice the size of my old one, I finally have enough room to install more than one game at a time, so I'll have a bunch of new/revisited questions for BG 1 and IWD 1/2. :rolling:

    Hehe, my moms HD died a few monnths back, she blamed it on Blaster_worm and the (then) recent installation of IWD2, which, of course, is big. But it had been screwing up ever since she moved and my brother, big computer guy, couldn't figure it out, finally it had a blow out, and I got the blame. :rolleyes:

    What is IWD one-half? :D

    That happend to my dad's PC a while back. It was really funny because the needle basically fell off, so you heard this SCRATCH everytime it would try to start up, then the bios would come up and say "Dude, there's no HDD!" Not a direct quote, of course.

    Well, the HDD problem was fixed within 2 days of dieing, but the MSN 8 disk got lost in the mail, so after 5 days of waiting, I called back and demanded another one to be sent...8 days later it finally came. There was no postmark date stamped on it so I can't prove if MSN, or USPS are the idiots. Anyway, I'm back up and running. Today, me and my girlfriend decided to buy a Dell laptop for ourselves, so once that gets shipped I'll probably be able to get online twice as much. :rolling:

    Try restoration. If it doesnt work, try Greater restoration.
    If none of these work, then it is time for drastic measures:
