My Jaheira: Cleric spell progression and Druid XP.

This is annoying. I have so many mods, and one introduces true P&P spell progression charts to my game which I LOVE. But it also makes druid's spell progression identical to cleric. BUT it does not touch druid XP table, which sucks.

My Jaheira now can eventually become level 15 in druid, BUT she won't get all those bonus spells. This is not right for so much XP required and is so annoying.

What can I do? I have two options:

1-Lower druid XP table to clerics
2-Add extra spells to druid spell table normally.

I do not want to uninstall P&P tables, I love them. But can you find a solution to my problem? Like editing some files in notepad, I am sure Felinoid or others know such things all well, so please help me.

I've seen a mod out there that puts Druids on the Cleric exp table, I'd do that. Not true to PnP, but I recall the 2nd edition rules for Druids being kind of funky.

 

You do understand that, according to PnP rules, at level 15 for a druid, s/he becomes The Archdruid? That's why you need so much XP to get to that level. Besides, Jaheira can reach 15th level in the vanilla game.

 

Silverstar, I presume you're referring to G3 Tweaks, specifically the P&P Spell Progression Tables and Druids Use Cleric Level and Spell Progression components. The latter should be adjusting the XP tables as well.

Was Tweaks installed last? Do you have anything else installed which may be affecting the XP tables?

 

Umm I think I have Blucher's spell progression installed too, for some reason. Is this causing the trouble?

I never knew that G3 tweak also changed druid XP tables.

Can someone direct me o a file I can edit to change druid XP table? Or better, allow me to edit druid spell progression which it was used to be, way cooler.

And Kuemper, I agree Jaheira needs that much XP to become an arch-druid, but in my game she follows cleric spell progression which is inferior to druid. At lvl 15, she only has 1 or 2 lvl 7 spells, while she still requires huge druid XP, which pisses me off, I am sure you agree with me.

 

Probably. xplevel.2da controls level progression--make the DRUID line the same as CLERIC and you've solved the level progression. mxspldru.2da controls druid spell progrsssion and mxsplprs.2da controls clerics; make these the same and you've got clerical spell progression for druids. (I think patched SoA may not have a mxspldru.2da file; if not, just create one.)
