[IMG] Well, as I told you in my PM, browser around http://www.sorcerers.net/Books/index.php and check all the subsections... I haven't read all of those books, but I know what just about each of them is like, so feel free to ask away.

For gritty, "realistic" fantasy try Waylander or Legend, both by David Gemmell. Robin Hobb writes some pretty deep stuff, and her Assassin trilogy is superb. You might want to look for the Belgariad series by David Eddings, which is a bit more traditional in terms of the fantasy genre. As a starter, i'd recommend Gemmell's Legend, but that's just me! There is plenty of choice out there!

Well i've been studying all those titles out there (though only Forgotten Realms) and i chose some of them :

    The Cormyr Saga

The Elminster Series - mostly becouse of very good critics

    Paths of Darkness

    The Dark Elf Trilogy

Now considering my finances arent as great as my desires are i cant buy al of them (2 series i think). So if you've read them go ahead and tell what you think.

    And tomorow the Dragonlance :D

If you want more RA Salvatore get the Cleric Quintet, its his best work. Also his later Drizzt stuff (Paths of Darkness) is pretty boring.

The Elminster series I found all rather silly and wouldnt particularly recommend

I havent read any of the Cormyr saga unfortunately so I would also be interested knowing what it is like.

The Seven Sisters book (also set in FR) was pretty good although its not really a series

Dragonlance Chronicles is a must read though - I love them and they are very easy reading.

[IMG] Of those you listed, The Dark Elf Trilogy and The Cormyr Saga would be a good pick to read first.

The early Drizzt stuff it good. Try reading some Tracy Harding books, and if your into science fiction read Julian Mays's Galactic Miluei Trilogy and the Saga of the Exiles. These books are utterly brilliant

For religous type magic there's always Katherine Kurtz's Deryni series. Raymond E. Feist's Krondor books are all good too. Most of these are out of print but if you can find them I think they make excellent reading.

Madeline l'Engle's A Wrinkle in Time and the books that follow are excellent - although they tend to be a bit more deeper and "religious". You'll find such issues as multi-dimensional theories, God, emptiness, and the Great Flood. But don't except to find big red dragons or heroic wizards anywhere.

@Gothmog - If you like druids, you can try the Shannara books by Terry Brooks. The druids are not exactly like D&D druids but are close enough.
