[IMG] Anyone who's played Solau mod, help me please! :D

I have some serious problems on behalf of the cult of the Eclipse of whatever they were.

Since they seem to have resistances to almost every form of magic, I cant hurt them with my magic. They have "prepared" for the battle, and they have that ultra-uber skill Total Eclipse which goes into timestop, exeption that they can move they're chars, making my ppl immobile and very vulrnable situation. They just kill all my chars with eclipse compined with dragon's breath..

Is there anyway to counteract their Eclipse -thingy etc? give me some advices please, Im in a dead end here :(

Tried almost everything, including timestop etc :(

You just stumbled into the hardest fight in BG2 existence.

I can only offer advice and facts - as so far luck has played an immeasurable role in getting my char through that ramble.

First, don't use timestop. (They're immune.) They'll use their own timestop a lot, then they all go for the character with the weakest AC first. In your case, this should be Solaufein, since he is the only one among you who can move during the timestop. Have him with only minimal armor so he has the lowest AC, and have him cast protection from magical weapons or mantle. (Improved or greater, the better.) Likewise you can assign scrolls and spell slots to your character with the worst AC and buff him/her up all the time with protective spells.

Your first concern should be the Shades. If you have Viccy in your party or the Control Undead spell you'll be able to use them to your advantage - and unleash them on their magic users. Otherwise, dispose of them as instantly as you can. (Or cast protection from undead on everyone)

The spellcasters won't pose much of a problem if your party/char has very good anti-magic capabilities - use every scroll/potion or items as you must as this fight IMO is a bit harder then the final fight in Ascension.
Buff up your characters just before Sola decides to speak to you. (You can leave him out, sleep, buff during the night and let him back into the party in time for him to start the fight.)

Whether you choose to kill the fighter or the mages first depends on what better elements you party is capable of resisting - if you can take a beating, go for the casters first. Likewise, if you're semi-spell-immune, kill the fighters first. The Kensai should be your first target - he is the easier to kill and the most deadly. Gang up on him and kill him as fast as you can. Use all your abilities and HLA's. Cast purely aggressive/damaging spells - enchantments and the like have seemingly no effect on these people. You might find this easier if while you're ganging up on one of them, and they're ganging up on your char with the worst AC but is invulnerable to their attacks.
Once you get rid of their fighters their casters shouldn't pose much of a problem. As long as you have high saves, and you're buffed your mages with protective spells (The druid has some very interesting choices of spells - like nature's beauty and creeping doom) you'll be able to live with them as a nuisance factor.
The sorcerer, however (dragon's breath-o-maniac), is also a handy first-kill choice. Dragon's breath is as heavenly for them as it is to you.

Your Fighter roles: Use all HLA's, cast every protective/positive spell you can spare on them and have them gang up on the Sorcerer/Kensai, etc.
Your Caster roles: Dispelling their protections (with high level dispells, buffer-eaters...) and raining doom on the battlefield. (Surely you won't let them beat your own dragon's breath?) Use purely damaging spells. If you must summon, for for daevas, planetars, dark planetars and elemental princes.

If you're soloing this fight, here's to hoping you're someone who can both fight well and cast magic, or your chances of success border to negative infinity.
