Need help with Dragonlance Chronicles

Discussion in 'Booktalk' started by Forashi, May 22, 2002.

Could one of you Dragonlance chronicles readers out there tell me when I'll finally find out about what happened to Raistlin (& Caramon since he seems to have an idea about it as well) in The High Tower of Sorcery (I believe it was called that). Do not, I repeat, *DO NOT* tell me what happened, just WHEN I will find out about it. I'd prefer to read about it myself. I'm currently in "Dragons of Winternight (Volume II)", book 2.

    Thank you.

[Ok Admins, moderators and all you powerful ppl out there, the contents were originally something that I saw was already posted up on some other thread, so I'd like you to change the topic to: "Need help with Dragonlance Chronicles" or something. Thx.]

    **MINOR SPOILER**

You hear more abut it in the Legends trilogy (which I recommend that you read after Spring Dawning), but it all finally comes out in Soulforge, if I remember right. I wouldn't skip directly to that book, though, because I think you'll appreciate Soulforge much more having read the Legends trilogy. It's Time of the Twins, Test of the Twins, and War of the Twins (I forget the order that they're read in).

I remember reading two short stories that appeared in Dragon Magazine BEFORE the first DL books were published. One of them was a story about Tas and a teleporting ring. The other was the story of Raistlin's test at the Tower of High Sorcery. If you don't want to read the whole book, you could try doing a search for this short story.

[IMG] Forashi, by the end of the initial Dragonlance trilogy (I think in Book 3, Dragons of Spring Dawning) you will know exactly what happened in the Tower of High Sorcery. Quite detailed, too.

But as was pointed out, there are other books that center on it even more.

Ok, thanks for the info. I'll just keep on reading then.

Someone correct me on this, because this is vague. I know I read what happened somewhere but I just fail to remember. Did it mention what happened at the end of soulforge?
