For some reason, I can't get into the windspear hill area. I can see the icon on the map, but it is a grey color and the pointer pass over it like other part of the map.

I have try going back to some of my earlier saves, but that doesn't work either. I have also uninstall BGII and reinstalling it, still the same problem.

I am playing the game on a win2k advance server, 256k ram , PIII 800. I have plenty of HD space.

The only thing I can think of is using the "Move" cheat, so if anyone knows what the map coordinate is please let know. If anybody else have a better on how to fix it or get around the problem, please let me know.

    Thanks for any help possible,

    Try this:
Leave the city through the City Gates, go to the ...errr.. Nalia's castle, then you can go to Hills.

    That ought to work.

You've probably already done this but, just in case, you can't visit any of the areas outside of the City unless you've been given a specific quest for that area (the person then updates your map for you). If you haven't got a quest for Windspear (the nymphs acorn thing doesn't count), visit the Copper Corenent in the slums. There is a bloke there (can't rememeber his name)who asks you to help his Baron rid the area of monsters.

If you've already done all this, then the cheat you were after is: CLUAConsole:MoveToArea(AR1200)

If you need help with using cheats, check out the info on this site.

Try going there from Umar Hills, for some reason it does tend to grey-out when trying to enter from other areas. You also might have to try a few times before it highlights.
Warping in for the first time isn't good as you may miss an important plot development.
