    [IMG] I´m playing BG-1 again and I´ve found Nester´s dagger on an ankheg at the bridge area (where you deal with that umberlee priestess).

    I know it is quest related but since I haven´t played BG-1 for a long time I forgot wich quest it was and where to find it. Any ideas?

    I picked up that dagger too. You get the quest from Quinn. He's in one of the houses in the northwest corner of Baldur's Gate. I'm not sure exactly which house but he wants something of Nestor's which you can give him (the dagger).

    thanks, then I will sell it in the friendly arm in to free some space in my inventory for I´ll have to finish the right side of the map, the robber´s forrests and cloakwood before I get to Baldur´s Gate.

    I want a bag of holding, or a gem bag or a scroll case! :mad:

    I just solved the shandalar´s cloak quest with my party beeing about 34 k xp, that was hairy :)

    [IMG] *************SPOILER***SPOILER***************Ragusa;
    if you have TOTSC & DSOTSC you can get a scroll case from the same map area that Bassilus is on. Some guy is walking around selling stuff. Beware!!! Some of his stuff is bogus.

    Why sell the dagger?? Just chuck it in a barrel or chest so that you can get it back later without having to buy it back.

    [IMG] I've put things in chests before. They weren't there when I returned. Hmmm, maybe Monty has been following me ever since I cut him loose...

    Well it's important to store stuff in a safe place. If you put it in any old barrel, any old person might come along and get it. The best place to store stuff in the early part of the game is in Beregost upstairs in the Jovial Jugglar Inn. I stored all my stuff there before chapter 5 and nothing was taken. Plenty of room as well. Once you reach chapter 5, you probably want to move everything to Baldur's Gate. I think any inn will do, but if I rember correctly, I think I used a non descript inn on the south east edge of town right next to a tower on the wall. Can't be sure about that though...it's been a while.

    Yep, that´s what I feared too - I disoike things to disappear. When something as useless as this dagger is for sale in friendly arm inn - fine. Then I know where to find it :)

    [IMG] I use my npc/pack mules to store stuff. Take 'em to an inn, load 'em up with goods, and dismiss 'em. (Make sure they are npcs that WILL wait for you!) I still laugh when I think of Montaron peeking out of a pile of rotting ankheg shells, hoping someone will spill their beer close enough to him for him to suck it up off of the floor!
