[IMG] It is simple, I have 2 computers, I just want to connect them, I only have a serial cable, in both of pcs I have WIn98, the same edition and all of that, the thing is that no matter what I do I can't connect through the program that comes woth windows. so I tried pc anywhere but still can't do it. Does anybody know of a program (if is a little better) so I can do such simple task.
    Thanks in advance.

I don't. But I advice buying two network cards and some BNC cable to connect them. It'll work faster, without all those serial connect problems and you'll have TCP/IP protocol and be able to play games normally. Plus, you always have those cards and can connect to any BNC network with no effort and any other network with little effort.

None of the people I know regretted this expense and it's not really a big one if you don't buy the newest fastest cards and fancy cable.

Oh man, is not just that easy, you'll see, the economy here sucks, I have the "fancy" cable but a net card here is too expensive for my salary, that's why I wanted to do this simple conection.
I have two net cards but since I upgraded my computer to an Athlon and all the new stuff, I realized that this motherboard have no Isa slot, just pci, and my cards regreatable, are ISA.
Thank you anyway for the tip.

You could use a modem serial cable.

But, if you want to use them for gaming, how about getting a second phone line and have one computer on each?
