    Dunno if any of you have played this?

    Thanks to whoever pointed out to me that there are now public servers for this.

    For a bit of lowtech (in terms of graphics) hack and slash fun, try it out. Very addictive stuff. (At least for me, coz I used to play it about 10 years ago at Uni).

    Link follows. Use the Swedish or Finish servers, I don't think the others work anymore.

    [​IMG] Nethack, holy retro! I played this game back in the 80's. I'm sure if I can handle watching ASCI graphics for hours on end these days. A fun game in it's day - but playing it in excess today says something about you!

    True, true. Sad, but true.

    I was addicted to it back in the 80's, but hadn't played it for years. The thing is that although there are no graphics it's still laugh if you like some serious hack and slash. Also the randomness of the game does make it more challenging than most you'll play.

    I'll probably stop when I've beaten it again. :)
