[IMG] Can a cleric of a neutral deity in 3rd edition cast good, evil, law and chaos spells? I don't think so, but isn't it a lack of power? Or if they can cast all of them, are they then not to powerfull? What do you think?

First of all, it balances out, because a cleric can only cast so many spells per day. Secondly, you could argue that the neutral cleric is more flexible, but the focussed clerics, are more focussed. They can take the domains that fit with the alignment to gain a +1 casterlevel bonus on spells of that alignment. (iirc)

    neutral clerics can cast anything.

for actual spell selection, I dont think there are any limits for what you can cast but I might be wrong on that.
You can't have a patron diety more than one step away from your alignment however.

Note that a neutral Cleric who turns/destroys undead is performing a good act whenever he turns undead. A neutral Cleric who rebukes/commands undead is performing an evil act whenever he rebukes undead. I don't think it affects a lot of spells (besides spontaneous casting), though.

They can cast any spells they want (since they have no opposed alignment(s)), but some PCs may have a serious problem with spells of the Evil descriptor (a Paladin is definitely not going to tolerate something like that).

No, because, as I said, he's bound to a certain amount of spells per day. He's a little more flexible, but the Good/Evil clerics compensate in different ways, like getting +1 casterlevel to spell with the Good descriptor. It's pretty balanced.
