Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

Yeah, that would be pretty neat.

Can't hurt to ask again, I suppose...

If the game is 3D couldn't they program it so that it takes the area volumne on the xyz axis points and measure it out then refer to the critter summoned and basically do an an if/then statement.

If ceiling is to short for critter summon then summon fails, or something along those lines.
Yes-- If there were a true Z Axis, which the Devs have positively identified as not going to be there. Now there is a possibility that the buildings will have a computed Z-Axis height, as with models and placeables in some instances, so the summoning of overly large creatures might be something that could be scripted to include either a NoWay switch or You'reSmushedIfThatHappens switch. After all, just because something's too big to fit in your tent or cottage with a thatched roof, doesn't mean it Can't ever be summomned  No, not the old Hill Giant Summoning Trick, I just bought a new roof!

Let's wait and see what we can do in lieu of a Dev commenting specifically on this aspect. Devs willing to give us the skinny on Z-Axis heights for items, models, placeables as a function of their size/scaling as it applies to this aspect?

Well... the engine is definitly aware of how tall the game objects are... so I guess that means we have a true Z-axis.

Sweet. That was easier than I thought. ;)
