    Familiars
    The combat abilities of familiars in PnP are far outweighed by the consequences of a familiar getting killed. All of the talk about how we're handling familiars is speculative - but my current plan is that they give their master appropriate skill bonuses, scouting abilities, plus a cool extra or two I don't want to mention (in case we don't have time to implement those bits). Familiars would be treated as non-combatants and can't attack anyone, but on the plus side they can't be attacked in return. P.S. Nutty Boo says "hi".

    Employment Opportunities

    In Australia, even a Trainee Programmer position will attract 100+ applicants. How are the things with employment in US or Canada (gaming industry, IT, etc.)? Competition, expertise/experience/knowledge required, etc.
    It has been my experience that the US has had a shortage of experienced software developers for quite some time. We receive about 10x as many applicants for entry-level positions as we do for experienced developer positions and many of those applying for experienced developers are marginally experienced.
