    Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context.     Filtering of FP textures and Vertex Texturing

    Yeah, I laughed when he said that though. It was a good way to break news like that. Who knows, depending on how demanding the NWN2 engine is R2VB may not even be needed.
    Actually a quick and proper hardware implementation of render to vertex buffer is quite useful for something like displaced water. However, unfortunately...vendor specific implementations don't really help our cause, especially when time is running out.

    So, don't expect to see it used in NWN2.

    I think in one of Avellone's interviews he already commented on this, so I'll answer. You're interactions with companions definitely has an affect on them, but don't expect the alignment shifts of KotOR2. That was tied into that game's story, and it doesn't work for our game.

    Yeah, in re "inventory Tetris" it does make inventory management faster. But some folks really like the Tetris. Personally, I really disliked it. I think things should be streamlined to make sure you play the game more, and manage data less. The one thing we lose out of it is the cool huge inventory icons from NWN1. Instead we have cool small icons. :)
