    Script editor
Yes, you can do this in the toolset.

    E3

Obsidian isn't going to be at E3.
Ah... internet rumors. Gotta love em.

    512MB ATI Vid Cards

Shader Model 3.0 is where it's at!!
Is shader model 3.0 not supported by the 512 MByte cards?
The amount of ram a video card has is not related to what shader model it supports. Currently, only the nVidia 6600 and 6800 series cards support shader model 3.0. And yes.. .the more RAM the better. These days, high quality game graphics are all about multiple passes with mutiple maps... color maps, normal map, specularity maps, parallax maps, shadow maps, ... all of which chew up video RAM. We could easily find a way to make use of 512 megs of video RAM.

Scaling of Models: How far will it go?
As far as I know, anything you "place" in the toolset will be scaleable. That means, weapons, chests, barrels, armor, whatever...will be scaleable.

    More:
Going by that I take it you mean "placeables" are scaleable not characters etc.
No, characters will be scaleable as well. However, I believe there will be a limit to how much, because they are somewhat special in the sense that their animations must be scaled as well...and there's only so much you can do before it starts to look out of place and just plain wrong. As for the dynamic scaling, I don't see why that shouldn't be achievable through script. Although, I'm not sure what the current status of it is.

    More:
Brian has been making my day for months now. Since he has started posting again, I guess that means he is ready for E3. Right?
Well, I guess I was away for a while...huh? But that's not always a bad thing. I was pretty busy there for a while, making the game we all love look better (I hope). A lot has happened during that time. While I can't tell you all the details I can say that we are very happy with the way things are starting to look here in house. That aside, I definitely think the scaling stuff will be/is cool.

Can a white robe be white this time around?
There are no "color palettes" of anykind anymore. If you want white, you'll get white. If you want pitch black, you'll get pitch black. Everything in the new rendering engine operates at least at a full 32-bits of color precision.

no reccommendations while setting up and leveling up your character
I didn't design the recommendation function (some smart NWN1 person did), but it does a great job of making it so people that aren't familiar with D&D can quickly design a character and hop right in. The character may not be optimal, but it allows for playable fun for people new to the genre. Since we're adapting the rules to 3.5, the specific recommendations will change but the concept is a winner and we'll be keeping it.

    New GameBanshee Interview
From Syrsuro:My question is: What ELSE are you biting your tongue and wishing you could tell us. Come on - you can tell us. We won't tell anyone. We promise. Answer:All things in time. For now my tongue will just have to be a little swollen.

    NWN 2...why?
I know it's been said before, but we're aiming to make sure that NWN1 mods can have their conversations and dialogues converted. Depending on the type of MOD you got, that could be a huge chunk of your work preserved. I imagine some mod makers will be able to get their old MODs out pretty fast. Plus the new tools have some features that are neato and powerful.

Obsidian, This better be in the editor!
That make a fun module button sounds rad. Why didn't we think of it?

Better Bards (NOT discn of validity of Bards)
I can't really go into details, but we are looking at giving the bard some love. It looks fun to me, and want to be bards should be happy, methinks.
