Here are today's Neverwinter Nights 2 forum highlights, collected by NWVault. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context. Bear in mind also that the posts presented here are copied as-is, and that any bad spelling and grammar does not get corrected on our end.

    Passing Parameters in Conversations
The parameters are not passed down to other conversation nodes explicitly -- you can do so through the use of local variables or other mechanisms which already exist in NWN1. The thing that conversation parameters really help cut down on is the number of "one off" scripts you have -- setting a quest state, or checking an attribute, for example. You can simply have a generic version of the script and then pass in parameters to control its behavior. And because you can run multiple scripts per node, it makes it easy to combine various single-purpose scripts to get more complicated behavior...thus reducing the number of scripts you need to write. :D

    No Z-axis ?

... as I will be shell out 60 to 80 dollars I would expect them as a bissness to to make the time and give me Z-axis. ....
For your money we are going to make you a fun and compelling D&D based game. Isnt that what you really want? I think it probably is. If all you really want is a Z-axis you can probably find a copy of "Descent" in the bargain bin of your local software store. ;)

More: My response has nothing to do with a lack of "groupy-ness"... There is very little more I could say about the "z-axis" that I havent already said in one of the numerous posts I've made on the subject.

Asking for a "z-axis" is like asking for the Loch Ness monster to help you with your math homework... its doesnt actually exist like you think and even if it did it wouldnt be the answer to your problems.

    I want Turducken in NWN2
A turducken would be the best Druid pet ever!!! I'm sold.

    :)
